Culture Days 2017: Traditional Music and Storytelling from the Outaouais

Plan Your Visit

Celebrate traditional French-Canadian culture with music and stories by Sébastien LeMay and La Ridaine.

Sébastien LeMay shares a love of nature and the Outaouais in his signature blend of stories and legends. Through lively music and historical anecdotes, LeMay takes audiences on an imaginary journey through time and space, exploring the cultural richness of this region and its people.

La Ridaine’s dynamic performances feature a potpourri of reels and French-Canadian folk songs. The ensemble also involves audiences in the show, inviting them to play the spoons or operate a wooden jig doll. Whether you take part in the performance or not, La Ridaine will have your toes tapping in no time!
