Canada Hall is now closed to make way for the new Canadian History Hall, opening July 1, 2017, the 150th anniversary of Confederation. The new permanent gallery will be the largest, most comprehensive and engaging exhibition on Canadian history ever developed.
It will explore our common history through multiple voices and perspectives, reflecting the richness and complexity of our national story.
Throughout the renovation period, the Museum will continue to present a rich and engaging lineup of exhibitions and programs. Check out the Grand Hall, the First People’s Hall, the Canadian Children’s Museum, our IMAX® Theatre and our many special exhibitions and programs.
