Buy Tickets

Lean in, listen and learn as Daniel Richer, an Abenaki storyteller, shares the “Legends of the Forest”.

Since time immemorial, members of Canada’s First Peoples have passed knowledge and wisdom from one generation to the next through storytelling. This time-honoured oral tradition is a wonderful way to teach important cultural beliefs, rituals, history and life lessons.

Have a seat, relax and lend an ear as Daniel Richer shares the “Legends of the Forest”. These interactive stories will engage audiences, especially families and children ages 3 to 15. This event is part of Canadian Museum of History programming for National Aboriginal Month, which celebrates the unique heritage, diverse cultures, and outstanding achievements of Canada’s First Peoples.
