Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons

Established by an act of Parliament in 1929, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons is a national, non-profit group that supervises the educational standards and training of medical specialists. Its position as an authority on medical education standards made its opinion influential in the public debates over health insurance.
