Hospital, Saskatoon

Photo: This purpose-built hospital in Saskatoon opened in 1909

This purpose-built hospital in Saskatoon opened in 1909. A typhoid epidemic in 1906 revealed the lack of hospital beds, but the people of Saskatoon had made do with converted homes, a nursing home and even the Roman Catholic rectory.
