Chapter 5
Working in Toronto

1954   On September 6, Christian Bennedsen begins working with the Atlas Sheet Metal Company.

Early 1955    Christian Bennedsen begins working with McEwen Sheet Metal.

1959   Chris Bennedsen goes back to work with Atlas on November 2.

1966   Chris begins working for Sharp Sheet Metal on February 1; shortly thereafter he joins Local 30 of the Sheet Metal Workers, International Association.

1970   On December 7, Chris Bennedsen starts work with Comstock International where he begins working on larger industrial and commercial buildings.

1986   Chris begins working with Elmvale Metal Products on
January 6.

1987    Chris transfers to Astech Mechanical on January 19.

1988    On June 14, Chris returns to Elmvale Metal Products.

 
Chapter 5
Working in Toronto

1990   Chris begins working with Tam-Kal Limited on April 23.

1993    Chris retires at the age of 62 on January 15.

1995    Chris becomes the first national president of the Order Sons of Italy Canada.

1997   Chris becomes president of the Thalassemia Foundation of Canada.
