Four different periods in nineteenth-century costume were portrayed by the Victorian Costume set. Most outstanding of all was Mrs. Fitzgibbon as Princess von Leinengen, Queen Victoria's mother. She copied her costume from an old portrait. Mary Fitzgibbon was a well-known journalist who wrote under the name of Lally Bernard.
