The City setting presents the exhibition's most modern
content and is designed to evoke the vibrant and edgy reality of
India's large urban environments.
Painted tin signs, graffiti,
political arts, media and communication arts,
and movie posters are all part of the City setting.
Two art galleries
complete the setting: one features contemporary works by South
Asian Canadian artists; the other features the works of
well-known Indian contemporary artists.
A computer station in this setting offers an animated virtual tour of the
Taj Mahal, and a boutique featuring a wide range of
Indian arts and crafts is located nearby.
