Zhou Sicong

From Ninghe, Hebei Province. Adept in drawing human figures, oil painting and doing illustrations. He was particularly renowned for his landscape paintings. He employed numerous techniques in his creative works and was able to blend in Chinese and Western styles. His works were selected for large-scale exhibitions within and outside China and have won awards. In 1985 he held a personal exhibition in Jinan. Before his death, he was a Vice-Chairman of the Beijing Branch of the Federation of Chinese Artists and a First Rate Artist of the Beijing Art Gallery.
