From Li County, Hebei Province. Adept in drawing human figures and animals. Famous for his sketches of facial expressions and small actions. He liked to draw hairy camels, dogs and cats, with accurate forms and shapes. His award-winning works were selected for exhibitions in many large-scale exhibitions both within and outside China. He was a Director of the Chinese Painting Research Institute and the Director of the Chinese Yan-huang Art Gallery.
