Wang Geyi

From Haimen, Jiangsu Province. Adept in drawing rattan plants, flowers and fruits, with a forceful and smooth style. Occasionally he made landscape paintings, which were also refreshing and interesting. In 1985 he was invited to lecture in Japan and Singapore. He held numerous personal exhibitions both within and outside China. He won an award in a Chinese Painting Exhibition in London. He was a Director of the Federation of Chinese Artists and the Chairman of the Shanghai Branch of the Artists Office.
