Used stamps
Used stamps have been cancelled. Some collectors prefer them because the postmark shows that the stamp has served its postal purpose.

Used stamps (fine)
The colour is not as bright as very fine stamps. The margins are uneven, but the paper has no tears or creases and the postmark is clear.

Used stamps (very fine)
These stamps are bright and the paper is undamaged. The design has even margins, and the postmark is light, clear, and centred.

Used stamps (very good)
The colour may be faded, and the paper may be creased or stained. The perforations will touch the design and the postmark may not be readable.
