A Timeless Book
The Bible remains the most-read text on Earth. It is
also an essential reference work: its historical, theological
and poetic texts still speak to and guide millions of Jews and Christians
and other people around the world. And that's not to mention the
artists, writers, musicians and playwrights who have been influenced
by the Bible. Even the countless translations of the Bible have helped
shape and consolidate the use of many languages and dialects.
