Craig Evans Dr. Craig Evans of Acadia Divinity College examined the Dead Sea Scrolls from a New Testament perspective, as well as the ties between the Scrolls and early Christianity. Prior to his appointment at Acadia University, Dr. Evans was Visiting Fellow at Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey, he taught at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, and he was for 21 years Professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity Western University in Langley, British Columbia. A prolific lecturer on the Bible and on archaeology, Dr. Evans has authored forty books and over 200 articles and is currently co-authoring a book called The Dead Sea Scrolls and Christian Origins.
