Nadlok and the Origin of the Copper Inuit

Eurasian trade goods

Eurasian trade goods include metallic items brought or traded through Alaska from Siberia and the Northwest coast. Some also were carried from fur trading posts to the south. An outstanding example of long distance trading is tobacco grown in Virginia being shipped to Europe, traded with Russians and carried by traders across Siberia to Alaska, where Inuit traders carried it further across Alaska into Canada.
