T. W. Edwin Sowter
(1860-1932)

He identified a large number of sites in the lac Deschênes area, essentially from Hull-Ottawa to Constance Bay. While his archaeological collections have essentially vanished, the information contained in his published articles is as valuable as the artifacts themselves.

- Born Aylmer, Quebec
-Worked for the Topographical Survey Branch of the Interior Department of the Government of Canada
