George N. Gogo
(1907-1995) 

He is best known for his discoveries of Late Palaeo-Indian artifacts such as the two point fragments displayed in the Palaeo-Indian Section. He also documented sites representing a wide variety of time periods and cultures, including many well-known St.Lawrence Iroquoian sites

- Born in Cornwall, Ontario
- Identified and excavated sites on islands in the St. Lawrence River east of Cornwall, Ontario, and on the adjacent mainland, mainly in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s
