"Kiusta"

These two paintings show different views of the same event. In 1799 the ship Eliza was anchored off Kiusta and someone on board made a drawing of the village in the ship's journal. I have used the information in that sketch and shown the village from a slightly different angle, with the artist from Eliza seated on a rock on the beach.
