Jenness reported in 1921 that there were only about 250 Tsuu T'ina people living. They spoke an Athapaskan language similar to the Beaver but had adapted a Plains culture resembling that of their Blackfoot neighbours, with whom they were closely allied. These moccasins show a mixture of a Plains influence - the geometric beadwork - and an Athapaskan influence — the beaded designs of the cuffs. |
