Canadian Museum of History, 77-943, IMG2008-0080-0100-Dm, Nettie Covey Sharpe Collection

This roadside cross rooster was made in Quebec in the late 19th or early 20th century. It is one of the many fine pieces collector Nettie Covey Sharpe bequeathed to the Canadian Museum of History. Her gift enabled the Museum to build one of the richest collections of folk art in Canada. Nettie Covey Sharpe died on March 28, 2002
