Tommy Douglas’ Bible

This simple Bible is the only one Tommy Douglas ever owned. He started his career as a church minister in the early 1930s and later became involved in politics, being elected Premier of Saskatchewan on June 15, 1944. In 1961, he became the first leader of the New Democratic Party.
